So, the situation is that you are vibing with some girl. She tells you how she had some great time in a bar with her female friends and then some drunk man came and tried to pick up them. This reminds you of a story where some drunken girl came to you and you pretended to be a gay. It's a funny story you'd like to share. But now the girl has already changed the topic and is talking about how her friend broke up with some guy. Now, if you tell the story which you had in your mind you are not being smooth! Always tell something which is relevant to the current topic. If the topic changes just drop it, even if it were the best thing you were ever going to say. There is nothing more annoying than person going on with the OLD topic.
HB: Yes, I was in a bar last night with my friend. We had fun but then this drunk guy came to me and started hitting on me. I was lucky that my friend noticed this and she came to rescue me. We pretented to be a lesbian couple :)
HB: Anyway, my friend broke with her boyfriend now. I feel so bad for her :(

For a good conversation you use many conversation threads. When you talk with your good friends this usually happens. You talk about many things and sometimes jump between threads you have. Once you get some grip of good vibing you start to jump between threads with the girls aswell. Timing is important when you are going to insert new thread. You must first know if some thread is going to die. When this is going to happen you start a new one. You don't usually want to interrupt a good thread, unless you have something even better. Usually you insert something small about what's going on in the environment and vibe a bit about that. Then you can go back to earlier thread.
