This is a model for saying something interesting. Usually this results to as some small routine.
So, let's assume you have something interesting you want to talk about. First you either let the conversation flow into this topic or you open this topic yourself. Beware opening topics very much out from the context unless you can make it seem natural. Remember SitRel. Actually this model should naturalize much of the random topic jumping but still you shouldn't overdo this in one session. Use this to build attraction and after that you can move to rapport.
So, first you introduce a topic.
DJ: Hey, I was watching the American Idol yesterday. It had again some really awful singers.
Next you move into the "Interest"-part. This one should be genuinely interesting.
DJ: But guess what's funny? My old schoolmate actually applied into this competition! I talked with him after he had performed and he said it all went well, well.. up until he started to sing. He was too nervous and his voice broke. Now he's nervous if it's going to be broadcasted too!
Now, get her involved… Always get her involved :)
DJ: Haha, I can imagine how you would perform!! You would have practised this song from Spice Girls and you'd be wearing like Baby Spice :) Well, actually.. I haven't heard you ever to sing. You must sing for me sometime ;)
So, bring topic you have some interesting stuff prepared for. Tell the interesting part as well as you can. Finally get her involved into the whole thing. This is an great opportunity to tease her or qualify her! Well, do both :) Notice that here we have again kind of long sentences. You should PAUSE after saying each sentence and see if the girl wants to engage there too!
DJ: Haha, I can imagine how you would perform!! *Look at her with laughing face (cocky)* PAUSE for two breaths.
